Diesel lives life in first gear
Despite a high-octane name, Diesel the 5-year-old moodle prefers a cruisy existence in Southbank.
After moving into the area 12 months ago from Thornbury, settling into the neighbourhood has been no problem.
Despite having the luxury of a spacious backyard at his former abode, inner city living has its perks for this canine.
Enjoying casual strolls along the Yarra, the pooch keeps a low profile as he traverses the grass along Queensbridge Square.
Occasionally stand-offish (although you wouldn’t know it from his beaming smile), Diesel is a favourite with the kids.
His hobbies include going for a coffee and long walks to South Wharf. Owner Janet Hickey, a nurse at St Vincent’s hospital, said the move to the area had facilitated a more convenient lifestyle for both her, her husband and young Diesel (no relation to Vin Diesel).
